Alinta Manasserian

Speaker Profile
Television Host, Alinta Manasserian, has been fortunate enough to travel much of Australia and has a strong appreciation for music, film, animals and nature.
Born in Tasmania, Alinta grew up in Alice Springs and enjoyed an active childhood. Gaining an immense respect for our native flora and fauna and indigenous culture, Alinta’s love of adventure and the environment has seen her climb Ayers Rock, explore the wetlands of Kakadu, and snorkel the Great Barrier Reef.
After graduating from high school in 2000, her interest in media drove her to complete a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Film, Television, Media and Communication studies at the University of New South Wales.
It was after this period of study that Alinta’s passion for production and the Australian music scene led her to Sydney’s community television station, Channel 31. There she produced and presented The Mosh Pit, a rock music show supporting and showcasing local bands and talent.
After a few stints of work experience, Alinta was employed by TEN at the age of 17. Her enthusiasm to taste all aspects of television production saw her in an array of jobs, from rolling Autocue for the News to dabbling in Graphics, reception and coordinating production for TEN’S cartoon show Toasted TV.
Alinta loves to spend her free time sharing a laugh with family and friends, listening to music, catching a local gig, hanging out at the beach or going to the movies. Her role as presenter on Totally Wild is a dream come true and she could not be happier about becoming the newest member of the team and can’t wait to share her love of Australia with the rest of us.
