remo giuffre: ted | an idea that was worth spreading
Remo Giuffré speaks about theestablishment and growth of TED at Australia Speaks, our 50th anniversary celebration.
Remo Giuffré is the founder of the iconic REMO General Store, and the co-founder of General Thinking. He has worked as a lawyer and business consultant and was the Director of Branding and Strategy at Frog Design in Silicon Valley and the resident Brand Strategist at pioneering online developer Organic in New York. Remo earned combined Commerce and Law degrees from UNSW and an MBA with top honours from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
The depth of Giuffré’s experience at the retail and branding frontlines has given him a finely honed intuition about customers: what they care about, what they don’t particularly care about and how they like to be treated. He puts this experience to work as a consultant strategist and speaker. Over the years Giuffré has worked with clients and brands throughout the world on matters relating to product ideation, brand strategy, community development and the integration of total customer experience.
A long-time attendee of the TED conferences in the US, Giuffré is the licensee and host for TEDxSydney, Australia’s premier TED event.
