One of Melbourne’s most respected legal authorities David Galbally QC has a profile amongst the legal fraternity, and the wider community, that is second to none.

David is regularly called upon by Channel’s 7, 9 and 10, as well as top rating radio programs, to provide comment and expert opinion across a broad range of topics ranging from corporate governance, workplace relations, human rights, privacy and superannuation regulation.
Galbally has been referred to as “A shaper of opinion, thought and events”.
A foremost expert on corporate and criminal law, Galbally has represented some of Australia’s largest sporting governing bodies, sporting clubs and identities, public superannuation funds, as well as high profile individuals.
Outside of Law, David sits on the board of a publicly listed clean energy company, is President of Alzheimer’s Australia Vic and Chairman of the Centre for Hormone Research at the Children’s Hospital. David is also the Chairman of an Industry Superannuation Fund. His involvement with this Fund has required him to have a clear understanding of corporate governance and risk management issues as well as the need to work effectively and comply with regulatory authorities such as ASIC and APRA.
David has over the years become highly sought after as an authority on the issue of corporate governance and risk management and has worked with many of Australia’s largest corporations.

Not only did you get your message across on ‘The Chain of Responsibility’ but you have continued to ensure that the Managers are discussing the topic. I am so pleased with the result that I have requested that another Hypothetical be arranged for our next meeting in September and have plans to involve our customers so they are able to better understand their responsibilities.
