Marlee Ranacher, one of a new breed of Australian businesswomen, acquired the remote top-end Bullo River Station from her mother and acclaimed author, Sara Henderson, in March 2001. Her recently released book “Bullo – the Next Generation” gives insight into her entrepreneurial spirit, her business wisdom and her appreciation of the beauty of nature and the complexities of remote rural life, in particular in relation to the Ranacher's immediate aim: to turn the station into a unique ecotourism destination.
