Robert Allenby
Exclusive to Saxton

Robert Allenby is one of the finest golfers Australia has produced. In the early 1990s, he established himself as one of the finest young amateurs in Australia, coming within a whisker of winning the 1990 Australian Open and winning the 1991 Victorian Open.

After turning professional in 1992, Robert showed a glimpse of things to come when won the Rookie of the Year Award and topped the PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit in his first season, a feat he repeated in 1994.

Robert then made the move to the European Tour and until 1998, it was his principal tour. He won four tournaments on it, including three in 1996, when he finished third on the Order of Merit.
Robert Allenby has played primarily in the US on the PGA Tour since 2000. He has won four tournaments on the tour and had impressive finishes on the money list in most years.

In 2005, he became the first golfer to win the ‘triple crown’ of the Australian Masters, Australian PGA and Australian Open in the same year, taking his tally of wins on the Australasia Tour to twelve.

Robert Allenby has represented the International Team in the Presidents Cup in 1994, 1996, 2000 and 2003. He has also featured in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings on several occasions.

Allenby is a patron and spokesperson for Challenge Cancer Support Network, which has raised more than $9 million since 1993 for children with cancer and blood disorders. He resides in Jupiter, Florida.
