Jonathan Pain

Jonathan Pain is currently Executive Director and Chief Investment Strategist of HFA Asset Management and Director of JP Consulting (NSW) Pty Ltd. He has over 20 years of international investment experience including Chief Investment Officer of Rothschild Australia Asset Management, Head of Investments at Gulf International Bank in Bahrain and chair of the International Asset Allocation Committee at Paribas Asset Management in London. Jonathan has a joint honours degree in Economics and Politics from Keele University and a Masters degree in the Economics of Finance and Investment from Exeter University, specialising in Modern Portfolio Theory. He writes a monthly column for Personal Investor magazine titled Contrarian Investor and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Portfolio Construction. He is a highly rated and popular presenter, both domestically and internationally, specialising in Global Markets, Asset Allocation and Portfolio Construction.
