Texas-born Don Stallings is Chief Executive Officer of Masters Home Improvement Australia Pty Ltd, a joint hardware venture owned by Lowe's and supermarket group Woolworths. With more than 35 years experience in the hardware sector, he served as the President of Lowes-Canada at Lowe's Companies Inc. from August 2007 to September 2009 and as a Vice President of Operations for Southwest Region at Lowe's since June 1996. He was District Manager for Lowe's from March 1994, and was responsible for leading the team that opened Lowe's first six stores in one day in Dallas, Texas - Lowe's first top 25 metropolitan market. He also served as a District Manager for Payless Cashways, as an Executive Vice President for Store Operations at Hechinger Company from October 1998, and in a number of increasingly responsible positions with the Lowe's, including district manager, merchandising vice president and Regional Vice President of operations in Lowe's south central division based in Houston, the fourth largest metropolitan market in the USA.
