Effie Zahos has been the editor of Money since 1999. Starting from the ground up as a graduate trainee for one of Australia's major banks, she moved from corporate to TV in 1997, kick-starting her career in journalism as head researcher for Channel Nine's successful Money program.
Effie Zahos now writes for Money magazine, specialising in consumer banking issues, as well as a number of lifestyle magazines including Real Living and Qantas, and is the author of Getting Rich, Staying Rich.
Effie's broadcast experience is vast and includes regular appearances on A Current Affair, Today and Money For Jam, in addition to radio work for the ABC network.
