Frankie J. Holden
Frankie J. Holden is one of Australia's most dynamic, lead singing front men. Beginning his impressive career with legendary rock band Ol' 55 whose 'On the Prowl' peaked at #3 in 1976, Frank's success story continued into feature films including High Tide, The Odd Angry Shot and Return Home - for which he received an AFI Award nomination for Best Actor in a Lead Role - as well as his latest, the AFI Award-winning Clubland. He created the lead characters in many popular television series with Embassy, Police Rescue and Round the Twist, entertaining Australians of all ages, and has recently starred in Underbelly, The Strip and A Place to Call Home. Frank also hosted his own tonight show on the Nine Network In Melbourne Tonight, and has most recently presented Discover Downunder (2009) and What's Up Down Under (2010).
Such an impressive body of work has all been grist to the explosive mill that is Frankie J. Holden.
Combine this great talent with long time friend and showbiz collaborator Wilbur Wilde and you have some serious, rocking fun. Classic hits abound when these two take the stage and with the good humoured banter between them and the audience, it's always a memorable night out.
