Glynis Nunn, winner of the gold medal in the heptathlon at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, is one of Australia's most successful athletes.
Glynis has an extensive background in sports coaching, lectures in fitness and has written several books. She is currently the sprint coach for the AFL football team - the Brisbane Lions, and coaches track and field at various camps for Queensland Athletics.
Amongst her many accolades, Glynis was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for her contribution to athletics. Her presentations encompass her belief that proper preparation, dedication and motivation ensure success.
Glynis shows video footage of her own performances alongside the four sporting achievements by other athletes who have inspired her most. She is an excellent motivational speaker.
