Current experience:

Jo Pearson brings the ease and professionalism of an experienced television presenter to your conference or event. With more than 15 years on Australian television, and ten years working with global audiences in London, Jo has proved that she can quickly improvise when there are last-minute changes to the running order. Jo does her homework on your business or sector and can make quick decisions, improvise, trouble-shoot behind the scenes, suggest ways to make the programme 'zing' and identify potential issues with the running sheet.

'Thanks Jo, only a professional like yourself could deal with our curve ball a few minutes beforehand but we pulled it off, thanks to you. I hope we have the opportunity to work together again.'
(Jenny Horvath, Corporate Events Officer, Manningham City Council)

Previous experience:

For the past ten years, Jo has worked with some of the UK's leading video production houses as a Creative Producer - specialising in making sector or business-specific films that have been distributed throughout the world on online platforms. Her insights as a film-maker, media trainer and presentation skills specialist, have helped executive teams communicate more effectively with all their stakeholders, and organisations engage audiences more widely.
Jo Pearson and fellow newscaster, David Johnston were Melbourne's most watched news reading duo. She was co-host of the national current affairs / magazine show, 'Live at Five' with Terry Willesee and went on to host a national lifestyle and health programme, 'Body and Soul'.

Jo utilises her extensive writing, production and direction experience in making films, videos and promotional material for business. She also conducts dynamic media training courses, and has worked for a variety of high profile businesses including BMW Australia, Shell, National Australia Bank, British Gas, PwC, Sensis, Film Victoria, Amcor, Qenos, Aldi, Fonterra and IBM.

ARIMA 95 Conference

“Jo was great! Extremely helpful and very professional. As an MC she is excellent in controlling non-professional talent on stage”.

Polymedia Presentations

“Jo was wonderful. Due to extremely tight deadlines the award winners had to be slotted into the MC's script two hours before the first presentation. Jo ran with them feeding her information at the break before each presentation section and did everything perfectly”.
