Well known for 8 successful seasons on Backyard Blitz – Jody Rigby moves to new heights with a brand new garden design show on Channel 7 with Jamie Durie, building on her success as a consultant, writer, researcher and presenter.

Jody Rigby first pursued her passion for the outdoors and successful career in horticulture with a 4-year apprenticeship in parks and Gardens in Sydney where she came first in her class. During this time she also obtained both her bobcat and forklift license and completed a night course in permaculture.

At the completion of her studies, Jody Rigby was offered the only female role in the makeover program that would earn 7 ‘Logie’ awards in its 8 year run: ‘Channel Nine’s Backyard Blitz’. During this period Jody also took responsibility for the program’s research and contributed to ‘Burke’s Backyard’ magazine for 4 years.

Her latest venture is a yet to be released on ‘Network 7 ‘– a garden design program where she again works alongside Jamie Durie. Jody also runs a successful garden design and horticultural consultation service in the inner suburbs of Sydney and in her spare time enjoys the arts, music and has been playing drums for the past 12 years in various bands.
