Receiving praise for her unique, bubbly style as a regular member on the Nine Network's The Mint throughout 2007 and 2008, actress, writer, comedian and TV presenter Natalie Garonzi starred in The Comedy Channel's new improvised comedy series and was the captain of the winning team for the series on Comedy Slapdown. She is currently the writer and co-host of GO!'s Uplate! with James Kerley and Shura Taft.
Natalie began her professional career as a model, appearing in international fashion parades for Chanel, Vera Wang, Gucci, Armani and Escada, and in Australian Fashion Week from 1993 to 2006, before making the move to television. Natalie fast became hugely popular as a co-host of sn:tv and S'Arvo, Nickelodeon's Saturday morning and afternoon programs, as well as hosting the prestigious Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for Foxtel National. She has presented Wedding Switch as well as the Australian version of the US series of Playing It Straight on the Seven Network, and was the host of The Xtra Factor, a live 'after the main show' on 7Two in 2010.
Natalie won the role on phone-in quiz show The Mint over hundreds who auditioned, and skillfully talked her way through a four hour live television show, no mean feat in anyone's eyes. She recently utilised these skills on radio as a breakfast host on on B105 FM, and on Nova 106.9 as part of the regular fill-in team from 2007 to 2010.
Not your average model turned presenter, Natalie has studied script development, character development, improvisation and camera skills. Only having ever auditioned for one acting job, Natalie landed the role of Brie in the Australian feature film You & Your Stupid Mate, alongside Nathan Phillips, Angus Sampson and Madeleine West.
She has appeared in numerous television commercials for Sunkist, Honda CRV, Carefree, Bulla Ice-cream, City SmartCard, Myer, Vic Tourism, Asia Pantene, Guinness, and a three part movie-mercial for Pronto Biscuits in Italy.
Natalie has a wide range of talents including interviewing, live hosting, sketch work, comedy, accents, improvisation and she is a trained dancer.
