The Saxton Exclusive speaker, entrepreneur, and brilliant MC Arron Wood is also the Chair of Environment at the City of Melbourne. He recently gave an explainer to Sky News on the Melbourne Renewable Energy Project.
In an Australian first, some of Melbourne's leading businesses, universities, and councils are joining forces to drive investment in renewable energy.
Calling themselves the Melbourne Renewable Energy Project, the 13 organisations have released a tender to group purchase 110 gigawatts of renewable energy. That's equivalent to 250,000 solar panels or 15 wind turbines.
Considered one of the best facilitators in the business, Arron received fantastic feedback for his hosting of Saxton’s Up Close and Personal Small Business panel with Andre Eikmeier of Vinomofo, Helen Lennie of Signature Prints (Florence Broadhurst Collection), Nicole Eckels of Glasshouse Fragrances, and Tom Griffith of Emma & Tom’s juices.
"You have given us great service each time we have used you and you have managed to agree a good price on our budget. Everyone is most efficient and helpful, keeping in touch all the time."
