Speaker, thought-leader, and Forbes columnist Margie Warrell has been named a Women In Global Business Champion.
This is on top of her recent US tour where she delivered the keynote Embracing Change for all 3000 head-office personnel of Marriott International on the eve of their take-over of Starwood hotels (Sheraton etc.), making them the largest hotel chain in the world. While in the US Margie also interviewed Mr Bill Marriott and spoke at Columbia University.
But that’s not all! She’s is a dynamo In more ways than one.
In June Margie will be heading to Africa with her family to climb Mt Kilimanjaro. Afterward Margie will be heading to Nairobi to run a workshop in the infamous Kibera slum with Women for Women in Africa.
Margie has been inspired to get out and do something by The Hunger Project, who the family is supporting through their trip. This does not give out welfare but instead equips people with the skills and mindset to help themselves, ending the destructive cycle of hunger and lifting families and communities out of poverty.
The family’s goal is to raise $10,000 and so any support you can give will be greatly appreciated. 100% of all donations go directly to The Hunger Project and are tax deductible.
Margie says “Thank you for all and any support. Any amount you may want to donate will be very appreciated and be put to very good use! I look forward to sharing photos with you on the other side of our trip!”
