Nicholas was born and educated in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) degree from La Trobe University. He began his career in marketing with Unilever in 1979 and went on to hold senior marketing positions not only at Unilever but Richardson Vicks, and then Procter and Gamble. He moved into advertising when he joined Mojo some 20 years ago. Yes he’s that old.
In this time, Nicholas worked with Mojo’s then parent companies, Chiat Day & FCB in New York and in Chicago as Global Planning Director.
Nicholas returned to Australia in 1996 as CEO for Australia with a commitment to re-establish Publicis Mojo as the agency that best leverages our unique Australian psyche, turning those learnings into iconic and enduring big brand ideas, all with a passion for driving his client’s businesses forward. Must be his former client background. He has forged the breadth and depth of the specialist skills that are part of Publicis Mojo today.
