Best-selling author, motivational speaker and renowned CEO and performance coach, Nigel Marsh is a powerful and distinctive speaker.

In his career, Nigel has worked with an enormous variety of businesses including a number of the world's top companies (Virgin, McDonald's, Pepsi, British Airways, Philip Morris, Proctor & Gamble and Mars amongst others). This experience has given him strong views on what does and doesn't lead to peak performance in the business world.

Since moving to Australia from Plymouth, UK in 2001, Nigel has led two of the most dramatic company turnarounds the communications industry has ever seen.

Nigel Marsh was one of the founders of the globally renowned environmental initiative Earth Hour, held on the last Saturday of March each year, which asks households and business to turn off non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour in order to raise climate change awareness. Nigel was until recently the Group CEO of leading Australian communication services organisation Young & Rubicam Brands ANZ, a global collaborative network comprising some of the most powerful brands in marketing communications.

Prior to this he was Chairman and CEO for Leo Burnett Australia, during which time the company was responsible for a number of the highest profile and effective communication campaigns in the country - for companies as diverse as Canon, McDonald's, Colonial First State, Virgin, Subaru and Bundaberg Rum as well as being twice awarded the industry's coveted Agency of the Year award.

He is the author of best-selling memoirs Fat, Forty and Fired and Overworked and Underlaid: A Seriously Funny Guide to Life.

Described by the Examined Life Institute as one of Australia's most outstanding writers and commentators, Nigel speaks from direct personal experience, giving his views on how to get the best out of business, life and those around you.
