Roy Mears is a speaker, facilitator and trainer with a passion for helping people realise their potential. He specialised in developing excellence in sales team and client relationship management and the resultant delivery on corporate profit objectives. Roy enjoyed a meteoric rise through business from a trainee sales rep through to General Manager of a Division of a Public Company with over 75 full time sales people, fifteen Sales Managers and an annual turnover of $45M.
Roy subsequently developed his own consultancy and quickly established a reputation as an effective facilitator, no doubt helped by the skills he developed in his early career as an actor and his wide exposure to different sales and marketing strategies. Drawing on his diverse experience Roy is able to help sales organisations develop practical tools to identify and maintain the key characteristics on successful long-term client relationship management.
Roy’s concept of “Shimu”, or distributed responsibility, allows organisations to build self-contained teams that understand how to prioritise profitable practices and effectively manage themselves.
