Sharelle's passion for netball began as a seven year old on the courts of the small Victorian country town of Bamawm, near Echuca. From there, Sharelle has gone on to represent her country for 14 years including four Commonwealth Games and three World Championship appearances.
Sharelle has a number of career achievements and accolades to her name including two Commonwealth Games and two World Championship gold medals, six Premierships with both the Melbourne Phoenix and the Melbourne Vixens, individual MVP awards and was named as Australia's Favourite Diamond in 2010.
She has made a name for herself for performing under pressure, holding her nerve and shooting the final goal in matches decided in the slimmest of margins. Her incredible athletic ability, remarkable speed and agility and absolute determination make her a handful for any opposition.
A former Australian Diamonds Captain and Melbourne Vixens Co-Captain, her amazing contribution to the game was recognised when she was named Australian flag bearer at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. With a strong work ethic, outstanding mental toughness and the ability to lead by example she is a fantastic leader both on and off the court and an inspiration to many.
Together with Bianca Chatfield, Sharelle has developed Pivot Performance to pursue her passion for personal development in life outside of sport.
With a deep understanding and unique skill set in teamwork, personal development and leadership, as well as experience in performing under high pressure over a long period of time, Sharelle and Bianca understand the importance of a strong team culture in achieving success and are now challenging other groups to create an environment where everyone embraces the values of the team and individuals are encouraged to grow and voice their own ideas.
