Susan entered the business community from a scientific background. On completion of her studies she worked as a research scientist within public and private sectors before undertaking a lecturing position.

In her teaching capacity, Susan designed, developed and implemented theoretical and practical development programs in Microbiology and Physiology for paramedical, nursing and students from the industrial sector.

Susan made her entry into the business community as an Executive Recruitment Consultant. She undertook a diverse range of assignments in both New Zealand and Australia.

Since moving to Australia in 1988, Susan has focused her career within the training area. She has designed, developed and conducted 'people skills development' programs for clients within the private and public sectors.

The major portion of her training portfolio has been associated with Customer Service, Team development from both a Membership and Leadership perspective and Managing Change all within a service oriented context.

Her workshops are tailored to clients needs and their highly interactive nature combines analytical and creative approaches. Participants are encouraged to think for themselves and focused on implementing the concepts and skills developed into action within their respective work environments.

Susan recognises some of her most recent accomplishments as the successful implementation of a Change and Team development program for a client within the public sector, the licensing of a Team Leadership program which she designed specifically for the Customer Service Division of a major private client, the development of a Business Communication program conducted on an ongoing basis, nation-wide and Change Management initiatives both in the Public and Private sectors.

Susan has maintained continuous involvement with her clients over long periods of time. She believes the time she has invested in building and maintaining such relationships has been the cornerstone of her business success.

Apart from her training portfolio, Susan provides ongoing consultancy services to a number of her clients - e.g. conducting feedback surveys, developing strategies for cultural change and meeting facilitation. She also provides Mentoring and Coaching services to a number of individuals within her Client base.

Susan has completed post graduate studies through the University of NSW as well as undertaken a variety of learning experiences to enhance her own learning and her work with others.

Her clients describe her as passionate, energetic and effective in bringing about their desired outcomes. Her ability to engage people and involve them in the process is seen as one of her major strengths.
