Tian Tian Lan, is 10 years old and is in Year 5 at Brighton Grammar School on an academic scholarship. He commenced piano lessons commenced at four years of age and Tian Tian, studying under the late piano virtuoso, Nehama Patkin. He is also an accomplished violinist and singer and has performed in many concerts with Nehama and the Young Musicians of Excellence including the Arden Crescent Concert Series. Tian Tian was a soloist in the 15th Suzuki World Convention in April and recently made his concerto debut playing an Australian composition by Ian Munro, a three movement piano concerto, with the Monash Academy Orchestra at Monash University's Music in the Round - a Victorian Premiere! Tian Tian is a remarkable and inspirational example of the talent in our Australian youth.
