Tobie Puttock is one of Australia’s best known chefs.
Tobie is well known for his work with the ‘Fifteen Foundation’ alongside Jamie Oliver. They set up the restaurant ‘Fifteen’ for underprivileged youths to be able to work and learn the art of cooking. Tobie’s main role was in training and developing participants throughout the process. The project was later televised in a highly successful series.
With his light-hearted approach and passion for food, over the last few years Tobie Puttock has been a regular on Australian shows such as ‘Good Morning Australia’ and ‘Ready Steady Cook’; as well as starring alongside Jamie Oliver in the hit ‘Channel 10’ series ‘Jamie's Kitchen – Australia’.
As the executive chef of Fifteen, Tobie has worked extensively both in the UK and Australia in growing the foundation. He leads a kitchen with his team of world class professional chefs. Producing dishes of the highest quality, they inspire and guide 20 young apprentices each year.
Tobie Puttock's passion for Italian food began when he was eighteen, working in Melbourne's renowned ‘Caffe e Cucina’. His love flourished as he cheffed around Europe, working eighteen-hour days in Italian speaking kitchens, taking time out for snowboarding excursions and the odd extended lunch in a mountainside trattoria.
In London, Tobie Puttock worked at the River Cafe, widely regarded as the city's best Italian restaurant, alongside an impressive list of high-profile chefs, including Jamie Oliver.
After opening St. Kilda's Termini, he opened Melbourne’s well-known ‘Fifteen’. Building on his experience in training and cooking, Tobie released the much-acclaimed cooking book ‘Daily Italian’.
