Writer, performer and broadcaster Tony Moclair's career spans 17 years in the entertainment industry. Best known for his character creations and uncanny ability to mimic political and social headline-makers, he has also co-hosted top rating radio shows on Triple J, Nova and Triple M, written and performed on popular TV quiz and variety shows including The Einstein Factor, The Panel and Glenn Robbin's Out of the Question, was a cast member of ABC's The Librarians 3, has two platinum selling comedy albums and performed in sell out comedy festivals.
Tony is the creator and voice behind well-known radio character Guido Hatzis, for which he and co-creator Julian Schiller produced three top selling CDs ( twice platinum ) and won two ARIA awards. He is also creator and voice of Young Liberal Stirling Addison, who co-hosts controversial talk show 'Restoring the Balance' on Triple J. Other characters include Gen Y radio star DJ Domm, Bill the Kiwi Social Worker and patriotic talkback host Carlton J Kennedy and his larger than life characterisation of actor Tom Cruise that became a fan favourite on Nova and Triple M.
Amongst his busy media commitments, Tony maintains a keen interest in aviation and modern military history, and has contributed articles published in such magazines as Australian Aviation.
