Over the past 12 years, Denis Walter has acted as Master of Ceremonies for the Annual Gala Ball and Auction of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Neuroscience Foundation. This event, held at the Crown Palladium Ballroom attracts over 800 guests including senior politicians, influential businessmen and community leaders. As a Master of Ceremonies, he has extraordinary presence and a superb interaction with the audience. He intuitively seems to understand the mood of the audience needs as well as how to control the “tempo” of the function to optimize the enjoyment of the guests. He has also regularly provided entertainment during the evening, by singing and this has proved a considerable success. He has been able to develop a wonderful rapport with the audience, leading to audience participation and interaction.

Denis Walter compered Whitehorse Carols by Candlelight for the third year in a row. His professionalism and commitment cannot be faulted, particularly as he was prepared to attend a rehearsal to ensure that he was familiar with the program and timing.

Whitehorse City Council

Denis was happy to cater to our needs and readily adopted a couple of last-minute changes to the running of the program. He helped draw a crowd to our speakers’ marquee and facilitated guest speakers’ presentations as required. Denis was a pleasure to deal with and perfectly complimented the speaking program.
