Lord Digby Jones is one of the world's most acclaimed business commentators. At the helm of Digby Jones LLP, he currently advises in a number of roles, serving as Non-Executive Chairman of Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, On Logistics Ltd, Celixir Ltd and Thatcher's Cider Ltd. He is Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of the Unipart Expert Practices Division and chairs the Advisory Board of Argentex LLP. He is a Non-Executive Director of URICA Ltd and Leicester Tigers plc. He is Senior Adviser to Harvey Nash plc and Babcock International Group plc. Digby is Corporate Ambassador to Aon Risk Solutions and Jaguar Cars. He is Chairman of the Board of Governors at Stratford Upon Avon College.

He also sits in the House of Lords as a non-aligned Crossbench Peer.
A regular commentator on television, radio and in the newspapers, he’s known for his firm views on numerous aspects of life in a globalised economy. Named winner of the BBC's Celebrity Mastermind in 2010, he is the author of Fixing Britain (2011) and Fixing Business (2017). In 2014 presented the BBC TV series The New Troubleshooter and in 2015 the Radio 4 programme The Business Covenant.

As Director-General of the CBI (2000-2006) he became known for his candid visions for business and as Minister of Trade and Investment (2007-2008), he promoted Britain across the world and changed the way that UK Trade and Investment was perceived by increasing inward investment and expanding the UK's presence in all major international markets. Currently Lord Jones is Chairman of the International Business Advisory Boards at HSBC and British Airways, Chairman of Triumph Motorcycles Limited as well as Corporate Ambassador for Jaguar Cars and JCB.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s he was involved in most of the major management buy-outs and merger and acquisition activity in the West Midlands. In 1998 Lord Digby Jones joined KPMG as Vice-Chairman of Corporate Finance where he acted as close adviser to many public companies across the United Kingdom.

In 2005 he was Knighted for his Services to Business and Charity and became Sir Digby Jones in the Queen's New Year's Honours List
When he left the CBI in 2006, Lord Jones became Chairman and senior adviser to the CEO of the Deloitte Industries Group. Following his departure from Ministerial office in 2008 he was appointed Business Ambassador for UK Trade and Investment. He received a knighthood for his services to business and was created a life peer as Lord Jones of Birmingham.
