Thank you for speaking at our Road to Beijing event. The athletes, coaches and staff were really inspired and excited by your talk which is exactly what we were hoping for. Your experiences as a two-time Olympian emphasized the importance of not leaving anything to chance and ensuring the athlete does everything they can so they are not left asking the question “what if?” It was also great to hear how your Olympic journey has impacted your life as a whole. Hopefully our athletes will see the importance of this and realize how their own journey can be just as significant in their lives.

Everyone was talking about your presentation afterwards about how inspiring it was and how good it was to hear a story such as yours that everyone can relate to. Brilliant work… I think there were quite a few teary eyes after both the DVD and your presentation!
