I had the great pleasure of seeing both of Pat's workshops at our Harcourts Australian Conference 2006 and I can honestly say that both times, the energy and commitment Pat has circulated through the room during these sessions was inspiring. The audiences enjoyed his humour from the moment they walked in as he warmed them up for the session and he certainly kept them both in stitches and in tears as he captured every single person in the room with his story. The essence of his presentation rang true to every person as his story is one of truth and experience as opposed to having read it and regurgitated it... which most audiences will appreciate as a story lived is often better told. Through his eyes we were able to come out the other end has having grown as a person as opposed to sales training, but in the business we live and work in, we are dealing with people (including ourselves) so I and the audiences learned real valuable tolls that could help both ourselves and our clients. Pat's delivery of his story has to be seen to be believed as his jokes were so funny, because they were true to every person and his touching tales of his experiences with drug rehabilitation sent a shiver through most spines with not a dry eye in the room. The result, not a single person walked away without either thanking me for presenting him, or Pat for an experience they will never forget. Still two weeks after the conference, his name still comes up in conversation.
