Philip Cronin is currently the Director, Adobe Apac Partner Sales Group and formerly CEO of eClipse Innovation.

He was an 18 year Senior Executive with Intel Corporation (1997-2016), was Director of Intel Asia-Pacific & Japan from 2012 to 2016, MD of Intel Australia/NZ for 7 years and is an advisor to Corporations, Federal and State governments on ICT strategy, Data Centres, Smart cities, Cloud, Cybersecurity & the emerging IoT.

Previous experience

Intel: Philip was Intel’s Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand from 2004 to 2012, growing Intel’s business, positioning Intel as a leader in providing technologies that are changing the way customers live and work. During this period, Intel product sales grew by 200%.

In his career with Intel, Philip has been responsible for managing business in key markets for Enterprise Solutions, Channels, Education, Embedded, Security Software/Solutions including the Integration of Intel & McAfee business.

During an extensive career as a senior executive with Intel, Philip was responsible for growing business in complex technology sales, working closely with governments to create ICT policy (Smart Cities, NBN, Digital Health) building multi-tiered partner sales channels strategies and engagement, across Enterprise, Healthcare, Education, CyberSecurity & the IoT market.

ICT strategies: He's worked closely with corporate clients in Australia, New Zealand and Asia to develop their ICT strategies with partners such as Microsoft, HP, VMWare & Oracle as well as EY, NTT, Accenture, and developing partner programmes to implement strategies to accelerate the uptake of Intel technologies, grow Intel business across a wide portfolio and bring the benefits of technology to customers across the APJ region.

ICT Education: Philip has participated in a number of Intel senior executive programmes at Stanford University, INSEAD and graduated from St. John College Dublin with a Diploma in Computer programme languages.
