Dr Tom is on a mission to improve the wellbeing of the planet. He is one of New Zealand’s leading wellbeing speakers with over 20 years of conference speaking and workshop experience. An Emergency Department Doctor for 30 years including 11 years at Auckland City Hospital ED, he has been an honorary lecturer in Psychological Medicine at the University of Auckland. He is the founder of Doctor Global, the Healthy Thinking Institute and developer of global wellbeing App KYND www.kyndwellness.com which is taking the country by storm. He developed KYND as he believes how can you manage wellbeing, unless you measure it first?

Using his experience as a doctor, entrepreneur, CEO and as a stand-up comedian, Dr Tom can improve your way of thinking and outlook. His presentations will have you laughing, crying, entertained and educated by an experienced doctor both in the clinic and on the stage.

Previous Experience

Author: He has written two internationally best-selling books on Healthy Thinking including 'Healthy Thinking - How to Turn Life's Lemons into Lemonade' and 'The Power of Healthy Thinking - To Change Your Attitude and Your Life' which are in 12 countries. He has also owned his own General Practice and worked as an ED doctor and been a rural GP extensively around NZ.

Speaker: An expert on workplace stress, emotional control, productivity and wellbeing. Dr Mulholland has given over 1500 keynote presentations on wellbeing to international clients like Google, Microsoft, and Hilton and for the last 4 years has been touring and speaking around New Zealand in his retro Chevy V8 ambulance and catamaran, having just circumnavigated NZ by sea.

Media: He’s recognised as host of his own daily TV chat show on TV 2 and weekly talk show on RadioLive and is a weekly writer for the Sunday Star Times and Stuff on health and wellbeing.

Adventure & Expeditions: When he is not working as a doctor or on the speaking circuit, Dr Mulholland enjoys extreme sport and expeditions. He was awarded a New Zealand Defence Force Special Services medal for his medical work in the Boxing Day Tsunami and works as a ships doctor in Polar Regions. He is about to embark on his new mission the Healthy Heartland Hikoi where he will walk the length of the country.
