Drawing from his experiences of survival in the Amazon jungle, Yossi understands that imaginary survival can be far more dangerous than real survival. Real Survival vs Imaginary Survival
Real Survival means immediate and palpable danger to dear life. Such circumstances are rare, yet when they occur to our surprise we rise and meet them naturally. In fact, real survival equals peak performance.
Imaginary Survival is far more prevalent and dangerous than Real Survival and can be the cause of most of our diseases and distress.
As we grew apart from natural life the cue that activates our survival stopped coming from our senses and was replaced by our mind. It is our mind, not our senses that activate our survival mode and our mind always perceive that we are in real danger while in fact, we are only facing the challenges and problems of our busy lives.
Humanity as a whole is suffering from chronic sympathetic stimuli. This causes stress and brings disease and disintegration.
It is instrumental to understand Real Survival and Imaginary Survival to be discerning in real-time and to learn how to fix the bug in our system, as in false activation and its terrible consequences.
Yossi can teach audiences how to be discerning in real-time, and how to switch from Survival mode to dealing with challenges efficiently by providing the audience with the following takeaways:
