Wendell is one of the highest profile and most charismatic athletes Australia. His ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds is a very special quality. In the corporate arena Wendell provides that something special, always professional yet never a dull moment!

Previous experience

State of Origin: Wendell Sailor is an exceptional athlete who is revered as one of rugby league's greatest ever wingers. In a league career spanning nine seasons with the Brisbane Broncos, Wendell crossed for a phenomenal 126 tries in 209 club games, and represented Queensland in 17 State of Origin matches and Australia in 21 internationals. In 2007 he was named one of the 20 best Broncos' players of the club's 20 year history.

World Cup: Wendell's switch to rugby union in October 2001 attracted a blaze of publicity but his playing performances lived up to the hype, as he proved a key strike weapon for the Queensland Reds and the Wallabies, scoring the first try of the 2003 Rugby World Cup and playing in the final.

NRL: Wendell return to the NRL in 2009, winning the minor premiership with the St. George Illawarra Dragons, before announcing his retirement later that year.

It was evident from the moment Wendell entered the room that he carried with him a real presence and this was something felt by everyone. He captivated everyone in the room with his outgoing larger than life personality and he held the audience’s attention throughout the day. He was open to any questions and did not hold back. Wendell was interesting, thoughtful, inspiring and often hilarious as he regaled the audience with accounts of his life. Examples of some comments received afterwards were "Wendell was just sensational, we couldn’t have had a better special guest", "Wendell has such a good heart" and "What an entertainer, Wendell was just wonderful, and so funny!" The one aspect above all others that impressed those in attendance was Wendell's willingness to spend some up close time with audience members. Before and after his formal address, Wendell mixed freely with the guests and gave a little bit of himself to everyone.
