Jackie

Speaker Profile
Jackie Loeb has worked extensively as a comedian, vocalist, actor and musician; since 1991, she has delighted audiences across Australia and around the world with her highly original brand of comedy.
A cast member and writer on the award-winning Australian television series Full Frontal, Jackie's singing and mimicry skills were frequently used on the show, parodying Bjork, Tracy Chapman, Alanis Morissette, Janis Joplin and many other musical icons.
Jackie is a sought after panelist whenever a comical point of view or impression is required (including a spot-on Julia Gillard!) Jackie is a frequent guest on Australian television and radio (notably with Richard Glover on 2BL Radio's Thank God It's Friday) and is also a trained actor, copywriter and radio announcer. An enthusiastic writer, Jackie co-wrote the short film The Gluttons in which she also played the lead role. Jackie has also contributed pieces for In Melbourne Tonight and Geek Girl Magazine.
A popular cabaret performer, Jackie was the recipient of the prestigious Sorlies Cabaret Award at the 1998 Sydney Cabaret Convention.
