As a full time street outreach worker for more than 25 years, Les Twentyman knows more about our streets than most. Having originally established the Care for Kids Program featuring high profile AFL footballers, the Smorgon 20th Man Fund Youth Refuge and Back to School Program and the annual Children's Christmas party, Les regularly features on documentaries including on the Ohio gun buyback scheme, LA Gangs and Heroin Without the Hype.
In recent years, Les has since returned full time to his first passion: the 20th Man Fund, shining a light on the trends in emerging youth issues including gang violence, weapons carriage and its relationship to the growing incidence of truancy in our education system. The hard hittingThe Realities of Cyber Bullying DVD and 'Knives Trash Lives' CSA are testament to Les' pull-no-punches approach to exposing the damage caused to youth through peer pressure and social media.

- Thank you most sincerely for agreeing to be the guest speaker last evening at our dinner meeting. You will have taken on board the number of people who congratulated you on your excellent presentation, and I must endorse this sentiment wholeheartedly. Your all encompassing outline of the many facets relating to the disadvantaged and endangered kids under your watchful eye gave us an insight which is not always evident to the everyday person. Most importantly it was indeed a wake-up call to us all.
- Les was just the biggest hit on Saturday at Power and Leadership seminar. Everyone voted him the best speaker of the day. His story is so magnificent and we just loved having him as our star presenter.
