Profile

A graduate of Music Education from Melbourne University and Music Theatre from WAAPA, Andrew's theatre credits include major commercial productions of The Addams Family (Newtheatricals), South Pacific (Opera Australia), Love Never Dies (Really Useful Group), Jersey Boys (Newtheatricals), Priscilla - Queen of the Desert (Backrow Prod.) and Dirty Dancing (JEL), as well as Sugar, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Damn Yankees, Camelot and South Pacific for The Production Company. Andrew has performed in The Hayloft Project's Delectable Shelter (Critical Stages) and for Black Swan Theatre Company in The Merry-Go-Round In The Sea and rendez-vous: an opera noir, also appearing in workshop performances of new works The Good Fight, Metro Street and Nostradamus.

Before embarking on a performing career, Andrew trained as a music teacher at Melbourne University, where he was offered a place in their Masters program. A natural leader, Andrew held many positions of responsibility among his peers throughout his education. As a teacher, his knowledge, application and interpersonal skills have been the hallmarks of his professional life. With the call of the stage growing too loud to ignore, Andrew resigned from his position as Head of Music at Melbourne Girls' College and trained at the National Theatre Drama School before heading to the prestigious Music Theatre course at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

Along with his theatre credits, Andrew performs on the corporate circuit, playing the part of Frank Sinatra in The Rat Pack's Back. His natural delivery and easy presentation style have also seen him feature in chat-to-camera TV commercials for The Victorian Government, ANZ Bank, RACQ Insurance and Mitsubishi Motors.
