Barrie Barton is a thinker, writer, speaker, entrepreneur and place maker. He believes cities are habitats for humans, and that by caring about place, we make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Barrie's keynote helped reconnect our employees to our purpose to create the world's best places. Barrie spoke about the global mega-trends impacting our sector and inspired 1,000 employees from our development business across 4 events in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. We had some terrific feedback to his session which certainly opened our employees' eyes to the opportunities available to them respond to those trends through their work for Lendlease. Barrie is thought provoking. He gets people thinking beyond tomorrow and, at the same time, keeps it very real and tangible for the audience to own.
Barrie and Right Angle Studio are at the forefront of placemaking innovation and urban strategy. REMIX Summits seeks out those people that are positively transforming life in our cities to share their stories and Barrie is a compelling thinker and storyteller with thatrare ability to combine theory and real-world delivery and experience.
