Beverley O'Connor brings a unique perspective and refreshing energy to her MC or hosting duties. With over 25 years’ experience working in the media across both radio and television, she brings an insightful, entertaining and engaging perspective to all manner of corporate and community functions.
Beverley is involved is an ambassador and driving force behind multiple charities and foundations. She is a Life Governor of the Drug and Alcohol Foundation having served six years on the Board. She is a long time champion for breast cancer awareness through the BCNA and Pink Lady on the G events and was an Australia Day ambassador for ten years.
Beverly is a prominent media presenter and a mainstay in Australian Media. She is currently an anchor on the ABC’s News Channel, presenting The World and News and was a regular fill-in on ABC News Breakfast before this role.
She originally specialised in economics and politics, but over the years has combined her passion for sport, anchoring sport for the Seven Network and Saturday Afternoon Sport for several years on the ABC.
Sport: Beverley was the first female director of the Melbourne Football Club, where she served for nine years, seven of those as Vice-President, the first woman to hold this role with an AFL club.
