Brad Hodge is a former Australian cricketer celebrated as one of the finest run-scorers of his generation. A right-handed middle-order batsman and part-time off-spin bowler, Brad made his first-class debut for Victoria in 1993–94 and went on to become the state's highest-ever run-scorer in the Sheffield Shield with 10,474 runs. He also holds the records for most runs and centuries in Australian interstate one-day cricket.
Brad earned his baggy green in 2005, announcing himself with a magnificent unbeaten 203 against South Africa, and finished his Test career with an average above 55. He was part of Australia's victorious 2007 Cricket World Cup-winning squad.
Brad went on to enjoy a prolific and well-travelled Twenty20 career, representing franchises including Kolkata Knight Riders, Lancashire, and Melbourne Renegades, before transitioning into a respected career as a coach and cricket commentator.
