Caleb Serong grew up in Inverloch and Warragul in regional Victoria and earned a scholarship to Geelong Grammar School before being drafted by Fremantle with pick 8 in 2019.
He debuted in 2020, winning the AFL Rising Star award, and was elevated into Fremantle's leadership group at just 21, later becoming co-vice-captain from 2023. A three-time Doig Medallist (club best and fairest) and three-time All-Australian, Serong has also won four Glendinning-Allan Medals for best afield in Western Derbies and is consistently among the competition's best midfielders and Brownlow Medal contenders.
