Drew
Harrisberg

Exercise Physiologist, Diabetes Educator, Ambassador

Profile

Drew Harrisberg is an exercise physiologist with a postgraduate certificate in diabetes education and management — but more importantly, he is a happy and healthy guy thriving with type 1 diabetes.

Diagnosed at age 22, Drew made it his mission to take control of his health by transforming the way he lives, eats, moves, and thinks. Rather than letting diabetes define him, he has learned to manage it on his own terms, turning his personal journey into a powerful message of resilience and empowerment.

Drew’s inspirational TEDx talk has resonated with thousands of people living with diabetes worldwide. He has been featured on leading podcasts such as The Rich Roll Podcast and The Proof with Simon Hill, appeared on national television, and contributed to respected health and wellness publications.

He is also the creator and host of Drew’s Daily Dose Podcast, where he shares science-based insights, practical health strategies, and inspiring conversations with notable athletes, scientists, entertainers, and health professionals who are living with, or closely connected to, diabetes. Through this work, Drew continues to empower a global audience to improve their wellbeing and extend their health span.

Drew serves as an ambassador for respected diabetes organisations including Diabetes Australia and Breakthrough T1D. Beyond advocacy, he is the co-founder of Drew’s Daily Dose Insulin Pen Needles, a government-subsidised pharmaceutical product available through the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS), further cementing his role as a leading voice in diabetes innovation and care.

Blending lived experience, professional expertise, and authentic storytelling, Drew inspires audiences to take charge of their health, build resilience, and unlock their full potential.
