Motivation Guru, dynamic presenter on health and well-being.

The most damaging thing to the human spirit is the succession of ordinary days.

In this day and age, health and well-being are in danger of becoming an impersonal, mechanical industry. It is rare to meet a mentor who actually embodies his own philosophy on life. Dr Ed Timings is that mentor.

After 30 years providing both private Chiropractic care and working with New Zealand’s top athletes (including All Blacks, Olympic gold medallists and world champions) at the AUT Millennium Institute of Sport and Health, he has aspired to provide elite care to all.

Everyone deserves “Elite care” and Ed holds himself to high standards with every client.
He helps people understand how their bodies and mind’s function and the role they can play through knowledge and motivation.

Ed has furthered his education recently with a Prekure Diploma in Health Coaching before going on to the Advanced Certificate of Mental Health. He now leads that course internationally and has also completed an Advanced Nutrition Diploma.

The art of Coaching is about listening and helping the client understand what their thoughts are. We have understood the importance of Physical Fitness for many years but are only now recognising the need to address our Mental Health also. We call this Mental Fitness.

Ed was truly dynamic, he has a great subject knowledge, but manages to wrap that with warmth of presentation style that means he talks to you (not at you). He discusses some tricky points, exercise levels, eating patterns and does it in such a way that our staff felt not put down but empowered to make a change.
