Lessons in resilience and adaptability
Jeremy Cameron grew up in the small Victorian country town of Dartmoor and didn't play organised football until he was 15.
Recruited by the GWS Giants as an underage selection in the 2010 draft, he made his AFL debut in 2012 and quickly established himself as one of the competition's most dangerous key forwards.
Traded to Geelong in 2020, Cameron went on to win a premiership in 2022 and has been named an All-Australian five times. Off the field, he owns a 50-acre farm at Freshwater Creek near Geelong, where he raises cattle, sheep and chickens alongside his young family, staying close to the rural values that shaped him.
