Kate Allman is an award-winning sports journalist, television presenter, commentator, MC and travel writer whose career spans live broadcast, print, digital media and major events. One of Australia's most versatile live presenters and media personalities, she has built a reputation for engaging storytelling, confident and warm presenting and delivering under pressure.
Kate is one of only a handful of female play-by-play commentators in Australian sport. She leads the call on broadcasts for the A-League Women and AFC Women's Champions League for Channel 10 and Paramount+, Hockey One for Seven, the Swimming Australia National Championships for Nine, Athletics NSW, softball, NFL Flag, American football and world championship events. Widely recognised as the voice of American football in Australia, she has become a leading figure in one of the country's fastest-growing sports that is NFL and NFL flag football.
Before moving into freelance sports broadcasting, Kate worked as a television sports reporter with Channel 10 and as a journalist for News Corp, The Guardian, Forbes magazine and other leading publications. She was an editor at the award-winning legal industry member magazine, LSJ.
