Global Leadership & Executive Coach

Profile

Pete Shepherd is a global leadership and executive coach. He has worked with more than 10,000 leaders and executives around the world from over 150 companies including Google, Westpac, Woolworths, Kraft Heinz, Alfred Health, and The Australian Navy.

Pete believes leadership is a choice, not a title, so he focuses on the real, human qualities of leadership, like curiosity, empathy, and humility. By nurturing and honing these skills daily, he helps his clients develop, grow, and create change.

Beyond the corporate world, Pete has worked closely with some of the world’s brightest minds including 20 times best-selling author Seth Godin and multiple Booker Prize winner, and author of The Handmaid's Tale, Margaret Atwood.

He has clients who have built multi-million dollar companies and have raised nearly that much for charities. Others have performed on Broadway, been nominated for Australian of the Year, and produced Emmy and Cannes award-winning TV shows.

Pete is a former Head Coach of the altMBA, TEDx speaker, writer, and co-host of The Long and The Short Of It, a weekly podcast that explores leadership, creativity and workplace culture.

His stories and talks are funny, clever, inspiring, and captivating, and provide practical tools you can use each day to be an even better leader and build more effective teams.
