Di Lorenzo

Clinical Nutritionist, Author & TV Presenter

Profile

Sarah Di Lorenzo is a qualified Clinical Nutritionist, multiple bestselling author and successful entrepreneur who has dedicated her career to overhauling the health of Australians of all ages. A trusted authority in the Australian health and wellness space, Sarah has sold close to two hundred and fifty thousand copies of her eight book titles and is quickly becoming a highly sought-after author for international markets such as the UK and USA.

Sarah’s most recent book The Power of Protein is number one in health for the Australian market and has already been picked up by the US and other international markets for 2026. The book has been endorsed by world-renowned exercise physiologist and nutrition scientist Dr Stacy Sims, as well as former Olympic athlete and host of Sunrise Matt Shirvington. The Liver Repair Plan is a bestseller and number one in Australian non-fiction and number one in health, having been picked up by Waterstones Books in the UK.

Sarah’s Greek heritage meant family meals were based on the Mediterranean diet, and it’s those principles of healthy eating and fresh produce that were the inspiration for My Mediterranean Life, which launched in October 2024. The Gut Repair Plan was the number one book in Australia in three categories: health, wellness and personal development, and has also been picked up in the UK. Growing up with a father who is a psychiatrist and a mother who is a nurse, caring for the health of others was always in Sarah’s DNA.

Since 2018 Sarah has been a regular presenter on Weekend Sunrise and Sunrise as a health and diet expert, sharing information with viewers on healthy meals and eating the right foods to help with sleep, stress, weight loss, immunity and longevity. Sarah’s approach is not about the latest diet fads or quick fixes, nor is it denying ourselves the foods we love. Sarah’s method is a long-term strategy using a combination of portion education and sensible, low-calorie fasting that gives clients and followers the tools they need to maintain a healthy weight for life and to feel good inside and out.

It is no secret that Sarah has been responsible for significant physical transformations at the Seven Network, including Weekend Sunrise’s Monique Wright and Sunrise co-host Natalie Barr. High-profile clients have helped Sarah raise awareness about healthy eating, but equally important are the thousands of everyday followers in Sarah’s Facebook community, where members share their progress within a supportive environment.

Sarah has spent the last ten years running her own private clinic in Sydney, helping clients improve their nutrition, weight management and overall health. Sarah enjoys designing original recipes, often with healthy twists on family favourites and sweet treats without the guilt. A regular columnist for New Idea and a fortnightly contributor to Seven West Media’s digital publication The Nightly, Sarah is often asked to contribute to health columns and news bulletins.

Sarah is an accomplished public speaker, delivering keynotes on frequent book tours to packed-out auditoriums, including the recent Wanderlust Biohacking Summit on the Gold Coast. Sarah was also invited to speak at the opening of Watermark Residences, a luxury retirement resort development in North Sydney. Sarah speaks on the importance of holistic health for employees in the workplace and as a strategy for increasing motivation and productivity.

In 2024 Sarah launched her first wellness podcast 1010 Be Well with Channel Seven journalist and presenter Sally Bowrey. The first season landed in the top five per cent of podcasts worldwide and reached over 800,000 people. Season two has now been released, also reaching the top five per cent of podcasts worldwide.

A single mum to three girls, one of the driving motivations for Sarah’s work is to teach young people and teenagers a positive relationship with food, the importance of a good diet and maintaining healthy body image for life.

Sarah’s first book The 10:10 Diet: The Healthy Way to Lose 10 Kilos in 10 Weeks was published by Simon & Schuster in January 2022. This has since been updated to The 10:10 Plan: Your Ideal Weight the Healthy Way, followed by The 10:10 Diet Recipe Book, The 10:10 Kickstart: Easy Detox Plans and Healthy Smoothies, 10:10 Simple Recipe Book: Fast, Healthy and Budget-Friendly Recipes, The Gut Repair Plan (the number one book in 2024 in Australia in health, wellness and personal development), followed by another bestseller My Mediterranean Life: Recipes and Stories, long-listed for the 2025 Indie Book Award. In June, The Liver Repair Plan went to number one in Australian non-fiction. Sarah’s next book The Power of Protein was published in November. Her upcoming book will tackle diabetes and will be published in 2026.

Last year Sarah entered the food production space with her very own range of locally manufactured protein bars under her company name 1010 SDL. The 1010 SDL protein bars are now sold on Sarah’s website and exclusively in Woolworths nationally.
