I engaged Shara Evans as a keynote speaker for a recent event for over 400 senior leaders to share her insights on technology, it’s impact to our customers, and future opportunities for our company. We had some interesting talks from medical professionals on the future of certain medical techniques around breast imaging and we rounded up with Shara Evans to talk about health technology of the future - relating to what we do, what jobs we might have in the future, how long we might live in the future and still be doing mammography. All in all a very thought provoking, interesting talk on where life is going, and where the world is going.

Inviting Shara to present at our annual sales and leadership conference was an opportunity to give the rest of the team the time to really absorb the information, as there is a lot of it. When I deliver it, it’s not nearly as concisely as what Shara does. Her presentation was excellent! We brought Shara to the City of Newcastle for the Humble Lecture - the very first one in honour of our colleague Jenny Humble. Our team was quite excited to hear about all of the innovations that Shara was able to share with us. To learn about some of the things on our horizon, and also a little bit further into the future. Some of the things that might shock them, but also some of our team have had a bit of a fear factor and Shara helped humanize that for us. And, it helped us to then also share how the smart city movement in Newcastle is making some of these SciFi [things] into reality for our city.

We engaged with Shara for a CFO breakfast in Sydney. It was a group of about 120 CFOs exploring the future of finance. Shara gave a very in-depth session all about the future of finance and how it’s changing the world of the CFO. Fantastic feedback! Everyone loved it. It ticked all the boxes. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was a pleasure to work with Shara. And, I look forward to once again in the future.
