Steve Lennon is a strategist, changemaker, storyteller and adventurer.

Professionally, he is an expert in digital strategy and innovation, business transformation and culture management. He has enjoyed a working career full of twists and turns involving many disciplines, industries, countries and is well known for his leadership skills, creative thinking and capacity to instill positive cultural change.

Personally, Steve finds his highs at the peak of some of the world’s tallest mountains or trekking remote and spectacular corners of the earth. He has climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, walked over 4,000kms on the Camino de Santiago through France, Spain and Portugal and in 2013 supported a re-enactment of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s century-old Antarctic survival journey.

Steve is a senior strategy & technology advisor to Boards and C-Level executives, experienced audit & risk committee member and company director. He originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant and has served as managing director, Australia of the global creative agency Imagination; principal, management consulting with Arup, the design and engineering firm and in consulting leadership roles at several global IT services firms including DXC, SMS Management & Technology, Fujitsu, CGI and Cognizant.

Most recently, Steve led the GHD Digital business in Australia, as a member of the global leadership team. He advised private and public sector clients in the energy, water, built environment and infrastructure sectors on the digital transformation of their assets, operations and business models, enabling them to rapidly adapt to change and remain competitive.

As client and consultant, banker and borrower, investor and CEO, Steve has built, bought and sold several businesses, and been involved in several start-ups in the digital, construction and professional services sectors. He is an accomplished author and public speaker.

Steve is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Directors and a Certified Professional and Senior Member of the Australian Computer Society. He serves as Chair of AMPCo. (the publishing and data arm of the Australian Medical Association), a Board Member for Regional Development Australia (RDA), Sydney, and a Member of the Audit & Risk Committee for Infrastructure NSW.
