Born in Melbourne to an African-American father and an Australian mother of Jamaican and English descent, Touk Miller was drafted by the Gold Coast Suns with pick 29 in 2014.
He joined the club's leadership group in his third season, was appointed vice-captain in 2019, co-captain in 2022, and has served as sole captain since 2023.
A two-time All-Australian (2021, 2022) and the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year in 2022, Miller became the first Sun to reach 5000 career disposals in 2025, having led the club through some of its most challenging rebuilding seasons.
