Profile

Co-Host of Network Ten's Studio Ten and gracing television screens across the world as the pro-dancer and actor from Ireland, Tristan MacManus has partnered with the likes of Pamela Anderson, Valerie Harper and Gladys Knight on multiple seasons of U.S. reality show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and it’s British counterpart ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

In 2019 and 2020 Tristan became an official judge on the newly revamped Dancing with The Stars Australia on Network 10.

From the age of nine, Tristan spent many years mastering his precision and skill in both ballroom and Latin dance taking his talent to various competitions around Europe. Following this success, he found his feet in the West End hosting and performing in many stage productions and theatre shows including Dirty Dancing and Burn the Floor. Working also in film, Tristan featured as a dancer in Ella Enchanted (2004).

In between his various commitments has a professional dancer and judge, Tristan tours with the successful stage productions of Irish sitcom Mrs Brown Boys as the character ‘Elder Peach.’

Current Work:

In 2020 Tristan MacManus became the face of Australian Breakfast television alongside Sarah Harris on Studio 10. That same year Tristan and his wife Tahyna were the sole focus of a documentary film released on premium streaming service STAN titled MuM: Misunderstandings of Miscarriage. The film received critical and audience acclaim with many applauding Tristan’s vulnerability in opening up about pregnancy loss.
