Alex Sloan AM is an award-winning journalist, MC and communication specialist with a media career spanning three decades, including 27 years with ABC Radio. Known for her ability to engage audiences and lead meaningful conversations, Alex brings depth, warmth and professionalism to every event.
Alex is Deputy Chair of The Australia Institute, one of the nation’s leading think tanks, and a Director of The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust. She also serves as a pro bono adviser to the Uluru Dialogues, working alongside Pat Anderson AO and Professor Megan Davis AC.
Recognised for her outstanding contribution to the community, Alex was named ACT Citizen of the Year in 2017 and appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2019.
