Bec Brown has been working as a professional communicator for 20 years, beginning as a vocalist and vocal coach, then retraining to become a PR professional and, most recently, an author.

She’s the founder and Managing Director of public relations and crisis management agency The Comms Department, where she and her team work with some of Australia’s biggest and best-known media, entertainment, travel and lifestyle brands.

Bec and her agency has been a finalist every year entered for PR Professional of the Year and Boutique Agency of the Year at Australia and New Zealand’s most prestigious PR industry awards, the Mumbrella CommsCon Awards and has also been shortlisted multiple times for B&T’s Women in Media award.
